The food-grade drums feature an open head that provides the ability to visually inspect the contents and more easily recycle the containers when empty. A food-grade epoxy phenolic sprayed-in liner further protects the product’s integrity. This liner was specifically selected as it is manufactured with materials listed in the Federal Register Title 21, Subpart 175.300 resinous and polymeric coatings for food contact.

Bright green graphics identify the drums as containing food-grade lubricants. The stand-out color provides a visual guard against accidental misuse of non-food-grade lubricants that could compromise production or product safety. The color matches the labels Hydrotex uses to identify food-grade products in the company’s full line of lubricants and greases.
